Queens Sports Club is the first multipurpose stadium of Zimbabwe but is mainly used to host cricket matches. This stadium is also among the oldest cricket stadiums of the world as it was opened in late 1890’s. This stadium is the home ground for two best Zimbabwe domestic teams, i.e. Matabeleland cricket team and Bulawayo Athletic club. This stadium is considered as one of the loveliest cricket venues in the world and because of this, the stadium mostly hosts an international cricket match whenever international cricket series is played in Zimbabwe.

- The stadium was established in 1890 and the first match was played in 1893. The stadium was renovated in 1965 and was expanded in 1986.
- Total stadium capacity is about 13,000 people.
- This stadium is Zimbabwe’s third venue to host an international test cricket match. The match was played in October, 1994.
The stadium host only day cricket matches as day/night matches are not possible on this ground because of no floodlights. City End and Airport End are the name given to the Ends of the stadium. The match was interrupted between Eastern Province and Rhodesia because of an electrical spark in the scoreboard; it is the darkest moment of this stadium.
